REGISTRATION, CAMP KICK-OFF, AND ACCOMMODATION
The Finnhockey School Camp officially kicks off at 13.30 in the ice rink. We recommend arriving at the ice rink around 12.30 to register your child’s presence during the camp, meet the coaching staff, and put the hockey gear and luggage in the locker room. The kick-off meeting is open for both children and parents. The parents can ask any questions regarding the camp during the opening. At the meeting, the coaches will introduce themselves to the children, the schedule of the camp, and all the details regarding accommodation, camp rules, and emergency procedures. They will also give the contact details to the camp phone – a phone number that is open for parents and children to stay in touch throughout the camp. Wi-Fi is also available for the campers at all facilities in Vierumäki if they would like to use digital communicators (WhatsApp, Messenger, etc.) The children will live in rooms of 2-3, mostly according to the survey the parents have filled in Webpropol. Changes are possible, although they can only be done after the camp has started by the coaching staff. The cards for the rooms and moving the luggage will happen after the opening, around 15.00.
